AO Skincare began in 2020 from a personal journey rather than a business plan. Like many people struggling with skin concerns, I spent countless hours researching, testing skincare products, and experimenting with essential oils in search of a solution for tinea versicolor. Through patience, trial and error, and a commitment to understanding what truly worked for my skin, I eventually found products and routines that delivered results.
As I shared my experiences and recommendations online, friends, family, and members of my growing community began reaching out for advice and product suggestions. What started as simple conversations about skincare soon grew into something bigger—a desire to help others navigate their own skincare journeys with confidence.
This passion led me to create AO Skincare and later develop handcrafted body butters that became well-loved by customers. While production of our body butters was paused for a season, they remain an important part of our story and will be making a return in the future.
